Sizzlin’s own Shoes will host and star in a Movember Charity Flair Show at TGI Fridays Coon Rapids on Nov. 30. Music will be provided by our own DJ Paulie Spit as well. The action starts at 8pm but get there early because seats will not be reserved. The requested donation is $5 per person, and you can participate in raffles and drink auctions throughout the evening.
If you have not experienced a bartender flair show before, you won’t want to miss out. RSVP to the Facebook event here and invite your friends. This is also a great opportunity to meet some of the other station hosts.
Three Guys Talking has set up a Movember fundraiser page, so if you can’t make it to the flair show, please consider donating to the cause online.
SuperFly Soccer Show has had the pleasure of hosting several Game Day Experiences at The Local in downtown Minneapolis, the most recent of which took place Saturday, September 27th. Arsenal took on the Tottenham Hotspurs which resulted in a draw, but the Gooners, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Arsenal supporters, brought great energy to make for a great day of soccer. Hosts Chris and Chris welcomed guests, had raffle prizes and trivia giveaways and provided game analysis. Make sure to follow them on Facebook so you can catch the next one, and listen to their show Mondays from 6-7:30pm.
After a summer break, Break the Huddle is back on the air but is now The CH Program (for Canis Hoopis). We are sad to say goodbye to William Bohl and hope he will be able to return to Sizzlin in the future. Zachary Bennett and John Meyer continue their Timberwolves and general NBA show with us Tuesday from 6-7pm. Information on The CH Program’s first official episode can be found here.
Two new shows have recently joined us. We welcome The Ring General Radio Hour Wednesday from 7-8pm, hosted by Jono Beaver and Matt Nelson. They discuss all aspects of professional wrestling and offer a weekly 3-Count as a Top 3 on various topics. Find them on Facebook and twitter. St. Paul DJ and music producer Ganzobean spins tracks live on The Ganzobean Variety Hour Thursday from 5-6pm. Check him out on Soundcloud and twitter.
Finally, we bid farewell to The Noon Zoo on September 8th. All good things must come to an end, but you can still catch Shoes on Three Guys Talking Thursday from 6-8pm with Stubby J and Jason Douglas.
